Examples of periodicals include journals, magazines and newspapers.

  • Single most comprehensive search of all the library's periodicals is the Journal Search
  • If you have a reference to a specific article already, use Citation Linker to locate the full text (or request it using the interlibrary loan service).
  • If you just want to search for articles by subject, start with the main library search (http://library.wheaton.edu), click on the Articles tab, and type in your search. Alternatively, select one of the many Research Guides (LibGuides) that are available.
  • Print journals:
    • Most recent copies of journals are housed the Reading Room, main level, south end, and are arranged alphabetically by journal title.
    • Older issues of our print journals may be storage but can be requested. Contact research.help@wheaton.edu to find out how.
