NOTE: While the status of a Wheaton book in the catalog remains "available," you will not be able to request it from another library. If the library catalog indicates that a Wheaton book is available but you can't find it on the shelf, ask for assistance at the circulation desk.

Starting at http://library.wheaton.edu:

  1. Select the "Books" tab.
  2. Default setting is Wheaton Only. Select I-Share or Worldwide.
  3. Search for the book you want to request.
  4. Click on  in the full catalog record of the book. You'll get it usually within a week. If you haven't yet, you need to first create an I-Share* (or VuFind) account. More...
  5. When neither Wheaton nor the I-Share system can provide the item, you can request it using ILLiad.* For ILLiad requests, locate and click on . Use your campus computing credentials to log into ILLiad. Typical turnaround time is 7-10 days. More...

*I-Share is an online library catalog comprised of 80+ libraries in Illinois

*ILLiad is a resource sharing system that includes over 70,000 libraries worldwide
